Explanation: Total age of the existent boys = 5 * 15 = 75
Total age of the newly admitted boys = 7 * 12 = 84

Total number of boys in new class = 15 + 7 – 3 = 19
Average of the newly formed class = 120 / 19 = 6.3

2. The average monthly pay of 40 employees is 25000. Out of which 11 employees who were paid 20000 were removed. 22 employees were newly hired with annual pay of 144000. Find the new average quarterly salary of the employees to the nearest rupee.
