Our Founder is usually booked 45-60 days in advance, so be prepared to wait for your turn. Here are other required details.

2. What’s the duration of Sanfoundry’s online courses?

Our online regular courses are 2 hours/day so that you can continue to attend your office during day time and utilize early-morning or evening time for training. Online regular courses are delivered only on Weekdays. Depending on the topic and person’s experience and training budget, we can compress the duration of any of the courses listed above.

We do only personalized 1X1 course. Since our customers are in the US (EST, CST, PST times), Europe, Middle-East, Africa, and Australia, we are flexible in delivering the courses to suit your timezone. The courses will start primarily in the mornings or sometime in the evenings in your timezones as this will allow our Founder to be available in the morning or evening India time. Here are the tentative course starting time for people from different regions of the world (these times are slightly adjustable based on your specific situation).

– 8:00 am USA, EST (will be 5:30 pm India time) OR 8:00 pm USA, PST (will be 8:30 am India time)
– 8:00 am Nigeria time (will be 12:30 pm India time) OR Evening Times
– 8:00 am Middle-East time (will be 9:30 am India time) OR Evening Times
– 8:00 am UK time (will be 1:30 pm India time) OR Evening Times
– 10:30 am Singapore time (will be 8:00 am India time) OR Evening Times

3. What are the differences between Sanfoundry online and classroom (offline) training?

There is no technical difference. It is the same training material, the same content, and lab exercises for both modes of training. For both Online and Offline courses, the lab setup comprises virtual machine setup and installation of sanfoundry-ubuntu-linux which we provide to all the participants. So, if you have Windows / Mac / Linux Desktops or Laptops, you are all set. The minimum hardware configuration requirement will be at least 2GB of RAM on your Laptop/Desktop of which our lab will be using 512 MB of RAM in the virtual environment.

4. Do you provide softcopy (pdf/ppt) of your training material?

You will have access to the online version of our PPT for 3-months from the start date of the training, but it cannot be downloaded.

5. Will I receive a certificate of completion?

Yes, you would be given a digital (pdf) certificate of the course you have attended.

6. Can I record the online training sessions?

No. Sanfoundry does not permit recording and/or reuse of its material.

7. Does Sanfoundry provide any demo session?

No. We don’t provide any demo.

8. What is the batch-size of online training?

We don’t offer group trainings. Its only 1×1 training given online. The cost is 125 USD/hour.

9. What forms of payment are accepted for registration?

Sanfoundry accepts payment through wire transfer to the Sanfoundry bank account. Credit card or Paypal registration will incur 5% additional fee (Paypal/Credit-card companies charge 4.99% extra commission on transfers to merchants and hence participants have to pay 5% extra on the invoice/bill. To avoid this extra 5% cost, many overseas participants directly transfer the money to the Sanfoundry bank account. We have accounts with one of the Largest banks of India – ICICI bank).

10. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule the training?

Refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received at least 15 days prior to the start date for the training and are subject to a 10% processing fee due to cost associated with International banking and other regulatory charges. Rescheduling may be allowed if the request is received more than 15 days before the start date of the training. No guarantees can be made as to when the next possible session of a course will be scheduled.

11. What kind of software and hardware do I need to join the online training?

You’ll need a broadband internet connection capable of at least 512 kbps (minimum) download speed. Upon enrollment, you would be given detailed instructions on how to join online.
