1. “Boundary Layer Theory” by Schlichting
2. “Boundary – Layer Theory” by Hermann T Schlichting

“Boundary – Layer Theory” Book Review: This book is basically designed for the persons who are looking to develop their knowledge on the subject of fluid mechanics. This book gives a comprehensive overview of boundary-layer theory and its application to all areas of fluid mechanics, with emphasis on the flow past bodies. It contains the latest knowledge of the subject based on a thorough review of the literature over the past 15 years.

4. “Fuzzy Modeling of the Boundary-Layer Theory” by Biman Chandra Chetia

“Fuzzy Modeling of the Boundary-Layer Theory” Book Review: This book is basically designed for researchers of Computational fluid, Thermal fluid and students of MHD, Physical chemistry and Engineering research. This book shows the latest development in application of fuzzy dimensional analysis method and fuzzy interval algebraic operation as explicit form of Extension principle of Max-Min principle of Zadeh (1965). This book provides the expert systems with computational promise in critical problems of advanced fluid dynamics. It deals with the possibilistic criteria of problems in Boundary-layer theory and introduces some aspects of solution of problems in Hydraulic system by the tools of fuzzy sets and systems, where fuzziness of the variables are taken into account a priori.

“Thermo-Diffusion and Diffusion-Thermo Effects on Boundary Layer Flows” Book Review: This book helps to analyze steady, two-dimensional laminar free convective boundary layer flows over circular cylinder or sphere or vertical plate immersed in an incompressible viscous or micropolar fluid embedded in a Darcy or non-Darcy porous medium, in the presence of a uniform transverse magnetic field by taking into account the thermo-diffusion and diffusion-thermo effects. The analysis includes: (1) formation of the mathematical models to obtain the governing boundary layer flow and heat and mass transfer equations for the new models; (2) non similar boundary layer transformation; and (3) numerical computation using a finite-difference scheme.

8. “Numerical Analysis of Boundary Layer Flow Over 3D Aerofoil Section” by Chandra Shekar J and Kolakoti Aditya

“Numerical Analysis of Boundary Layer Flow Over 3D Aerofoil Section” Book Review: In this book, the numerical study is carried out for boundary layer flow over 3D aerofoil section and the aerodynamic performance of NACA aerofoil are analyzed by studying the lift and drag coefficient of the aerofoil. The results obtained in the case of boundary layer flow over the 3D aerofoil section are compared with the experimental data as available in the literature. The experimental data for NACA 64-009 from the wind tunnel is validated with simulations results computed in FLUENT.
