Java Program to Find Power of a Number

This is a Java Program to Perform Pow () Function.

Enter any number as an input. Java provides the Math class which has pow function that helps to get the nth power of any number.

Here is the source code of the Java Program to Perform Pow () Function. The Java program is successfully compiled and run on a Windows system. The program output is also shown below.

    public static void main(String args[])
    {
        int x;
        double y,z;
        System.out.print("Enter any number: ");
        Scanner s = new Scanner(System.in);
        x = s.nextInt();
        y = Math.pow(x , 2);
        z = Math.pow(x , 3);
        System.out.println("Square of "+x+":"+y);
        System.out.println("Cube of "+x+":"+z);
    }
}

Output:

$ java Power
 
Enter any number: 5
Square of 5:25.0
